The SEC Heat Exchangers Titanium Brazed Plate heat exchanger is constructed entirely of high grade titanium, the SCT series titanium brazed plate heat exchangers are designed for applications where standard materials would not be able to stand up to the corrosive nature of the fluids involved.
The SCT titanium brazed plate pack of corrugated plates are brazed together with a custom titanium filler metal.
The SCT series titanium brazed heat exchanger uses an advanced corrugation pattern to introduce a high turbulence within the plate pack, which dramatically increases the heat transfer rate and thermal performance of the unit.
SCT titanium brazed units do not use gaskets or external pressure tightening bolts, which eliminates the possibility of leaks.
